Avast is a free anti-virus software. It wasn't bad and I used it for a while. However, while using Avast with Trend, I did pick up a virus from a blog site I was visiting. I feel much safer now with Kaspersky and I've seen it work on my computer. I have visited a couple of blogs on MyBlogLog which tried to load Trojan onto my system but Kaspersky caught them right away.
