Shoemoney

There are hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs who make a nice living online. One of the most famous is Jeremy Schoemaker of Shoemoney.com. Known as Shoemoney in the online world, Schoemaker has had a lot of success over the years. But it wasn’t until he posted his famous Google AdSense check of more than $130,000 that he started to turn heads. When the online world took a close look at his check, it was obvious that he had a story to tell; and this is where Shoemoney.com comes into play. Although this blog is not money driven as some others, such as JohnChow.com, it surely earns Schoemaker plenty of money.

To get a better idea of what Shoemoney.com has to offer, here is a breakdown of five sections of his blog.

Design

In my opinion, the design of Shoemoney.com is one of the most desirable features of this blog. Whereas many other blogs in this niche are overdone with advertising and fluff, Shoemoney.com keeps things simple. On the top of the homepage, there are links to: photos, contact, advertising, marketplace, serps tool, bio, and disclaimer. By clicking on these links, you will be taken to more pages that are just as easy on the eyes.

As you scroll down the page, you will notice three boxes: favorite posts, most commented posts, and recent forum posts. Again, all of this information is laid out in an easy to follow format.

Finally, you will make your way to the posts. Alongside the posts on the right sidebar there is some space for advertising. But again, when you compare Shoemoney.com to other similar blogs you will notice the lack of ads from the get-go. But just because you do not see a lot of ads, it does not mean that this blog is not earning any money.

Shoemoney
Marketing

The Shoemoney name alone is enough marketing power for Shoemoney.com. A large number of people who are interested in making money online already know who Schoemaker is. With that in mind, they continue to spread the word to make for a very good word of mouth campaign. According to Shoemoney.com, the blog picks up an average of 20 new links per day. As you can imagine, this does wonders for traffic.

At this time, Shoemoney.com has a little bit more than 15,000 RSS readers.

Income

Schoemaker does not share information on how much Shoemoney.com earns on a monthly basis. But just because these details are not public knowledge does not mean that the blog is a small time earner. If you take a close look at the advertising link, you can get a better idea for how much money the blog earns. Every advertising slot is full, and with more than 20k unique visitors per day, you can only imagine how much it costs for one of these spots.

Content

The content at Shoemoney.com is not nearly as in depth as many other blogs in this niche. Additionally, Schoemaker talks about other topics outside of making money online. With that being said, every post is carefully crafted, and in most cases, offers a lot of useful information to the reader. If you are interested in making sure that you see every post, you will want to subscribe to the Shoemoney.com RSS feed.

Unique draw

The main draw of Shoemoney.com is the fact that Schoemaker knows how to make money online. He has been doing this for many years, and he has the AdSense check to prove it. Learning from a proven winner in this area is one of the best ways to achieve success yourself.

With an easy to follow design and solid content backed by an internet professional, there is no reason to not read Shoemoney.com on a daily basis.

I didn’t know of this guy before, but I’ll check out his blog; you made me curious.

One thing … the fact that he is hiding his earnings is a good strategy : this way, we don’t see his ups and downs, just a big cheque from time to time. Somehow, by hiding the workings under the hood, he instills an image of discipline and constancy in our minds. And isn’t constancy what we want?
