How to Make Money with Internet Marketing

Length of a Blog Post?

A question you might be asking and a question which has been debated by bloggers is how longer should a blog post be?

An important factor when deciding how long your posts should be is to consider the actual attention span of web readers. This has been the subject of many studies and it has been found that the attention span for a web reader is about 96 seconds for a blog or a website page. Using this wisdom as a guide – you should keep your content limited to short articles which can be read quickly in the limited amount of time that a web reader will actually spend on your site.

SEO experts say that either very short or very long articles do not get as high a ranking in the search engines as articles of a reasonable length. An article of reasonable length would be about 250 words. Therefore, try to write something from 250 to 1000 words would be a good guide to follow.

Remember, shorter posts allow you to write more posts. More posts allow you to generate more RSS readers.

Keep in mind that the type of post you are writing will also determine how long your post will be. If you are writing a review of a product or a site or blog, you post will probably be longer. If your post links to another story, your post might be shorter. Also, remember your post should cover a topic completely and then stop. If your post is too short, your post will not cover a topic completely enough. Cover the subject just enough and know when to stop.

i certainly agree the post must not be to comprehensive, write it as simple as you can but the way that it will not lack of information
you know i expirience it already,
now i know that theres omly 96 minutes to write an article or post something thats why when i exceed on the limitation the result was ” i cant able to open my blog” thanks that i made immidiate action for it
regretfully i deleted the previous article that made and just make a new shorter one

Yeah, you have to grab the attention of your readers in 96 seconds or less.
It’s all about finding the right length of post to create for whatever subject you are writing about.
