What they don't realize, is that the nature of the topics makes them harder to stand out from a crowded list, and that they don't really have the expertise to talk on such subjects; therefore, even if they manage to attract visitors, they just lose them fast, because their content is too scarce. I guess that niche topics are the future, even though the smaller audiences may not yield the best monetary result in the beginning.
