Choose a Niche with Less Competition
Making money online has a lot to do with the topics that you get involved with. The niche that you choose should be one that you enjoy. With that being said, you should also think about finding one that is not overly competitive. Of course, every niche is going to have competition. But believe it or not, many of them are not nearly as saturated as you may think. When you can find a popular niche that has not been overdone, you will have a much better chance of making money early on.

1. Make a list of 10 topics that are of interest to you. Remember, the more topics that you have to choose from, the better chance you have of narrowing it down to one niche that suits your every need. Take your time when collecting topics so that you do not miss one that you enjoy.
2. Once you have your list of topics, it is time to find out how much demand there is for each one. You can do this by simply typing the name of your topic into a search engine. This will show you how many results there are. In addition to this, make sure that you also use a keyword tool to make sure that people are actually interested in your niche. You may find a niche that does not have a lot of competition, but if nobody is interested, you will have a difficult time making money.
3. Compare and contrast each topic on your list. If some of them are overly competitive, cross them off. Remember, you have 10 topics at hand for a reason. Some of them are going to get knocked off early on. As you compare and contrast, you should get a better idea as to which niche will suit you best.
